Dragon

1916, 1928, 1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000

Dragon people are given the gift of health, energy, courage and sensitivity. They speak sincerely and are honest. The dragon represents the greatest celestial power and, along with the tiger, has the most beneficial influence in an astrological sense. Symbolizing life and growth, the dragon is said to have these four blessings: virtue, riches, harmony and longevity. Of all the signs, dragons are the most eccentric. They are wonderful workers, but at times display a willingness to work for evil purposes rather than good. Dragons are susceptible to flattery. Quick-tempered, excitable and enormously stubborn, they often by-pass marriage, only to face loneliness in their old age.

Symbol:

  • Dragon represents royalty, eternity, courage, strength, rain, and Spring.

  • He presides over the Eastern Quadrant and admonishes against greed and avarice.

  • Dragon is the first of the Four Spiritually Endowed creatures.  It is often depicted chasing a pearl (one of the eight precious objects).
